A Chrome extension I designed and built to solve bookmark chaos. Demonstrates rapid prototyping with AI tools, from prompt design in ChatGPT and UI in Figma to implementation with AI coding assistants. Uses GPT-4 to read page content and automatically file bookmarks in the right folders.

Solving Bookmark Chaos with AI

Chrome's bookmark system files new links in the last folder used, so a hike in Spain ends up in "Ecomm inspiration", a design post in "Euro hiking". I wanted a one-click solution that reads page content and automatically saves it to the right folder.

I prototyped prompts in ChatGPT, designed the UI in Figma, then used AI tools to scaffold the extension. Moved to Cursor for iterations on animation timing, API edge cases, and polish.

GPT-4 categorizes most pages correctly on the first try, but needs clear folder names to work effectively. Misclassifications still happen occasionally.

Demonstrated rapid prototyping for niche tools that wouldn't be worth building from scratch a few years ago
